Alas, we did not win the scavenger hunt, but we came close again. We found all 20 items, but lost out on the tie-breaker. The tie-breaker is whoever comes closest to guessing the number of teams to find all 20 items. We guessed 93, and at least 2 other teams had guessed 88 and 89. The correct answer was 88 out of 452 entries.
According to the paper, people had the most difficulty finding people feeding pigeons. Other items that gave people a difficult time were ice cream truck, mime and motel named for two people. Our most difficult item was a mime.
We did get one consolation, with one of our photos making it on their slide show. See if you can find our photo in the Best of the Rest slideshow on their site. You might recognize where the photo was taken. The answer is in a previous entry on this blog.
We had a great time though. We'll give it a whirl again next time.
